욱수골 이야기

막바지 피서 ‘욱수골’ 인기
“숨어 있는 피서지, 욱수골을 아시나요.”

대구월드컵경기장과 덕원고등학교를 지나면 욱수천이 흐르고 이곳을 따라 나서면 폭 2m 남짓한 호젓한 길이 병풍처럼 생긴 병풍산의 욱수 골짜기로 이어진다.

이 골짜기가 바로 아는 사람은 다 아는 욱수(旭水)골. 욱수골의 욱수천은 흐르는 개울물이 맑고 깨끗해서 붙여진 이름. 단골 산행객을 제외하곤 그 동안 널리 잘 알려지지 않았지만 조용하고 가까운 곳이라 여름철 불볕 더위를 식히기엔 ‘안성맞춤’이다.

좁은 길을 따라 욱수천을 끼고 산골짜기로 올라가면 계곡 주변 여기저기서 피서를 즐기는 시민들을 만날 수 있다. 대부분이 매년 이곳을 찾는 단골 피서객들이거나 이들의 손에 이끌려 온 사람들이다.

욱수골 입구 부근에서 ㅇ식당을 운영하는 서홍자(47)씨는 “다른 피서지에 비해 덜 알려진 곳이라 아직 찾는 사람이 많지 않지만 여름철이면 텐트가 늘어선다”며 “요즘은 평일에도 저녁 무렵이 되면 사람들이 꽤 보인다”고 전했다.

몇년 전부터 매년 이곳을 찾고 있다는 박경혈(35)씨는 “가까운 곳에서 여름휴가를 보내고 싶어 두 딸과 조카를 데리고 이곳을 찾았다”며 “조용한데다 물이 깊지 않아 아이들이 놀기에도 위험하지 않다”고 말했다.

입구에서 차를 몰고 5분쯤 올라가면 욱수지가 나온다. 낚시를 즐기는 ‘강태공’들에게는 지상천국. 내리쬐는 햇살을 받아 반짝이는 풍경이 황홀하기까지 해 이곳이 대구인지 의심할 정도라고 낚시꾼들은 전했다.

욱수골을 품고 있는 자양산과 성암산에도 등산객의 발길이 끊이지 않는다. 자양산에는 임진왜란 때 박응성 장군이 의병을 일으켜 왜군과 싸울 때 쌓은 자산성터가 지금도 당시의 처절했던 이야기를 간직한 채 1천800m 정도 남아 있다.

자양산 동쪽의 성암산은 해발 468m로 임진왜란 때 향교의 머슴이었던 강개명이 향교의 위패를 바위굴 속에 숨겨 왜란을 피할 수 있게 되자 나라에서 ‘성스러운 바위산’이라며 붙여준 이름. 수성구청 관계자는 “이 지역의 산이 그리 높지 않아 등산하기에도 좋다”며 “물도 깨끗해 앞으로 많은 시민들이 이용할 것으로 예상된다”고 전했다.

두루마리처럼 휘어지고 별, 원형, 삼각형 등 다양한 모양으로 가공이 가능한 플렉서블 디스플레이가 국내에 선보인다.

무기EL방식의 광고물 제작업체인 네오럭스(대표 강우종 http://www.neoluxiim.com)는 미국의 플렉서블 디스플레이 업체인 e잉크와 제휴, 플렉서블 디스플레이를 다음달부터 양산할 계획이라고 1일 밝혔다.

Cambridge, MA, USA, and Seoul, Korea - July 29, 2004 – E Ink Corporation, the world’s leading developer and marketer of electronic paper display technology and Neolux Corporation, a major manufacturer and distributor of advertising and promotional displays, today announced an agreement for Neolux to manufacture and market Ink-In-Motion™ electronic paper displays for the retail point-of-purchase (POP) market. Under the terms of the agreement, Neolux will purchase E Ink’s revolutionary Ink-In-Motion optical film to manufacture and assemble pre-programmed segmented electronic paper displays including electronics. Neolux has global non-exclusive rights to sell these displays to the POP market.

Ink-In-Motion is a flashing electronic display that combines the proven promotional effectiveness of motion with the visual appeal of ink-on-paper. Displays made with E Ink’s Ink-In-Motion film are ideal for retail environments, where power access is limited; a typical postcard sized Ink-In-Motion display is capable of running on just 2 AA batteries for up to 6 months. These displays use no backlight or frontlight and can be easily viewed from almost any angle and under virtually any lighting condition.

2002년도(제10차) 산학연 공동기술개발 컨소시엄사업 지원계획 공고

1. 경일대학교 중소기업지원센터에서는 2002년도 산학연 공동기술개발 컨소시엄사업을 수행할 산업체의 과제신청서를 접수하고 있사오니 적극적인 참여를 부탁드립니다.
2. 산학연공동기술개발 컨소시엄사업은 경북지역 중소기업이 경일대학교의 기술개발자원(연구ㆍ기술개발인력+시험연구용 기자재ㆍ설비)를 활용하여 현지에서 생산현장의 기술애로를 해결하고, 자율적인 산학연 공동기술개발 협력체계를 구축할 수 있도록 중앙정부와 지방자치단체가 Matching Fund로 출연 지원하는 사업입니다.
3. 사업비는 정부(50%), 경상북도(25%), 참여기업(25%), 경일대학교 출연금으로 구성됩니다.
